I had the fish pie and it was delicious. My husband had s steak and onion pasty and he loved it. The service was great.

This place was awful. We went here when we didn't know where we wanted to eat. First we ordered some crab sandwiches. The crab taste old and the mayonnaise was luke warm. Then we ordered a banoffee pie which was dreadful. The cream was clearly off and the waiters didn't seem to care. Even if you are desperate I wouldn't come here.

A single customer tourist trade venue thats become lazy. Very lazy. Chowder was awful...whitebait was literally just pan fried fish no care taken ....daughters lemon sole was good though...spent the latter half of the meal hearing older waitress bitching about getting home and end of shift and the fact they couldnt wait to clear up our table. Such a beautiful spot in the heart of Padstow deserves more. Thanks to other younger waitress who tried at least. My last eve in the UK visiting my daughter from Oz. We're now in a local pub eating nuts.
